Balboa Park Walk
July 24, 9:00 am
Meet at 6th Ave. & Laurel St.
Cost: $20

Join WTS and WalkSanDiego for a unique opportunity to walk through and around Balboa Park, with a docent-led tour focusing on the history and legacy from the 1915-16 and 1935-36 expositions that gave us many of the beautiful buildings and gardens we see today. There are plenty of quirky and sometimes bizarre pieces of trivia that characterized these fairs that attracted visitors from all over the world. Some great old photos of the expositions will also be shared.

This will be a 1.5 hour, 3 mile walk on generally level terrain with a few modest uphill sections. A boxed breakfast will be served prior to the walk.

RSVP before Friday, July 16th to Richard Dial or 858.712.8367
